Kayak School Intermediate/Advanced

This program picks up where our basic program leaves off. Designed for participants
who have significant whitewater kayaking experience or have completed our 7-day
Kayak School & Trip program. Participants spend 6 of 7 days exploring a great
instructional river in the company of highly trained guides and instructors.
The thrust of the instruction is to build on participant's comfort in whitewater, thoroughly developing safety & rescue skills, advanced river reading, playboating
(whitewater tricks), and instructional skills.

Guides for our kayak programs are chosen for a combination of instructional ability
and guiding experience. All of our guides are certified in swiftwater rescue and wilder-
ness first-aid. The trip is supported by a raft that carries the group's gear and food as
they paddle and play their way down the river.
